Hello, Dear Readers, how are you?
I come here again, one month later, and what a month! … A frenetic, intense month, just like a few of the months so far!
If I had to describe the constant feeling of this last month, it has been like the feeling of a final exam. During all this time the work of a whole year has been at stake, since the date of the release will arrive in just a few days!
Writing these lines, in the middle of the final process of editing, I am aware of the long road I had to follow. Thanks to the good people I have met along the way the project has gone well. It has been hard, but I think that our efforts will be worthwhile. Above all, seeing the positive response we are getting with videos like this trailer of the project below. It was made in a race against the clock to be shown in an article by El País, and we are very proud of it, I hope you like it…
Many people have put their time and effort in the footage above, at first glance, quite simple, a little more than 3 minutes. But believe me if I tell you that it has already taken nearly two weeks of work. Imagine the pilot chapter that will be shown this week in Madrid, it has nearly 35 minutes of footage…
Right now the project is a go, and our main objective is its release on Sunday the 29th at 17:45 in the Matadero of Madrid. Our next steps are to make important decisions in the next few months related to the organization of the project´s online component. Since The Gamer Inside has been born from and for the Internet. Without the Internet this project couldn´t be a reality. Currently, the team consists of 12 people who collaborate on behalf of the project in their free time. You can imagine that having collaborators who work in different parts of the world such as Brazil, Uruguay, Italy, Germany, Argentina or China , the project has to have a stronger and, above all, well thought-out web presence.
For the moment, we have compiled our work to try to make the release a unique film for the event, where much of the prepared material for the next few months will be shown. The footage shown will be different from the online version and adapted to the event format. We want to encourage you to come on Sunday afternoon and we have decided to give the attendees four games of FX Interactive to choose among six games (you can see them in our event section of Facebook), but it won´t be easy, only the most observant and intuitive fans of video games will get them!
Without further details, I say goodbye to you. See you next month and I hope you like our work!
