Today we open a new window at The Gamer Inside: we release the “Education” episode. The presence of the new technologies in education is getting more attention every day, and is of great importance and social significance. We have to discuss this subject as one more aspect of our work, about which the videogame has plenty to say. As you can see, we won’t be doing formal research with complex terminology, but we will try to embrace as many opinions (scholars, developers, parents, and players) as possible in order to enrich the final message and make it accessible to everyone. I hope you enjoy it.
From here, on behalf of the whole crew, I’d like to thank everyone who has participated:
- Carlos González Tardón. Psychologist specialized in videogames (People & Videogames).
- Pilar Lacasa. Communication doctor and professor at Universidad de Alcalá (Aprende y juega con EA [Learn and Play with EA]).
- Carmen Campos. ex-Technical Adviser of the Cabinet of the State Secretary of Education and Vocational Training (Ministry of Education).
- Stephen Howell. Professor and researcher of computer science at Institute of Technology of Tallaght (specialized in Interactive Media Design).
- Eva Perandones. Doctor in Technologies Applied to Education.
- María Rubio. Philosopher and researcher at Game Studies.
- Roberto Pastor. Videogames podcaster and blogger.

- César Astudillo. Strategic designer at ex-Toposoft (80s) and ex-Pyro Studios(90s).

- Luis Espinosa. Volunteer at Juegaterapia [game therapy].
It will be a pleasure to read your comments.
Greetings,
Jesús.
